Outside the Box

Artist, visionary of man and Gods,
guided as prescribed by the rule of craft,
boundaries imposed, meld the vision.
There are those in the quest of expression
step from the box of convention in want,
veer from the path in search of new horizon.
Seek muse untested in uncharted new form,
free imagination, step from the box
into the abyss of non-convention.
Concepts, razor sharp, will aimlessly drift,
seek, explore, embrace the unimagined.
Gaze through eyes of virgin view others may spurn,
evolution in cascade abstraction.
Speak a language of words newly learned,
a new freedom waits in your unique gift.
Always be true to self, not opaque box,
seen from distance; the box may be too small.

Nothing wrong with being an iconoclast Robert. I dont step out of the box, I usually fall out. I enjoyed this and agree. Cheers, Connie
