Outside the Box

Outside the box
 The ever open mind
 What it seeks? Is
Ideas of a different kind
Is there anything that’s new?
Or is it only new to you
What took so long?
For me to explore
The ever open door
have I in fact
only opened a different trap
If that be so
 Lets go !!
because you never know
What seeds you’ve sown
that got windblown
But now are ready
For you to reap
And feed the ego heap
If that is so, then weep
But keep a looking anyway
Because where you are
You cannot stay
Lest the mind decay
And so lose its way

I liked your poem, George, about the mind. Your words are ring true. And I loved the way you ended your poem
