Outside the Box
No more torn bandages on infected thoughts
Constantly searching for brevity and promise
Dogs of war sounding trumpets to march
Missions mocking the sound judgements of peace
Digging into safe silence and days of thunder
Casting the wish across a pond looking for ripples
Waiting for the sun and the return of my freedom
Magic and morality,misguided mantras
Useless work passed on from generation to generation
How do you fill the void, loosen the pull on the people
