Outcast

Author Dana Redricks October 31, 2023 Verse 1: In the depths of loneliness, I reside, A broken heart seeking solace, I confide. Searching for ways to mend and heal, Feeling lost, longing for a place to feel. Chorus: A voice in me yearns for understanding, For a space where I belong, expanding. I am an outcast, not fitting the norm, But I embrace my uniqueness, my true form. Verse 2: Torn from the fabric of ordinary dreams, I wander through life’s unconventional streams. Rejecting the molds society tries to impose, I find strength in embracing my heart’s echoes. Chorus: In this world that thrives on conformity, I stand tall, proud of my individuality. Though misunderstood by those unaware, I find solace in knowing, I’m rare. Bridge: In the tapestry of existence, I don’t conform, But my spirit roams freely, weathering the storm. I may not find belonging in the expected places, But I discover my own tribe through life’s graces. Chorus: In this journey of self-discovery and growth, I find acceptance, emerging from both. As an outcast, I dare to stand apart, For it is in embracing my true self, I find my heart. Conclusion: Lonely, broken-hearted, yet resilient and bold, I navigate a path that’s uniquely untold. For in being an outcast, I become whole, Embracing my true self, finding strength in my soul.
