Out On the Veranda

Miss the quiet so go to the porch Drawn into its pleasure. Awesome way to start a day. Viewing nature's measure Water sprinklers imitate rain. Man's poor substitute Across the way God's gift breath takes Fulfills not dilutes. The ambiance surrounds all plants. And the poet out on the porch' A relaxation covers all. Hold high nature's torch! Sometimes nature does go astray. From God's divine plan Mankind has interrupted it. Now the world needs giant fan. The sun is now higher in the sky. Soon it 'twill be too hot. Inside in the AC is the only spot. Napping on a cot.

I just loved this Sara! The veranda seemed such a nice place to view nature's temper as a child. AC has spoiled us, I think. LOL hugs :)

Linda Alice, I am sure that AC has spoiled us to a certain extent, but I don't think I could have kept on living without it. I do not do the heat in summer very well at all. Thanks for dropping by. I have to go out on the porch about daybreak to be able to stand it out there. Sara

It is always a feat for the senses to read your poetry, Sara, and this one hits the nail on the head - I would also like to rather be sitting on a porch marveling at the Creation.

Suzette, I think we all would enjoy some time out on the porch or something similar. Everyday needs a little time to commune with nature for a total relaxing experience (for most). Your visit added so much to my page. Sara

Indeed Relaxing on the veranda is nice but sometimes it can be too hot out there. My happy place n summer is my garden swing Where I am surrounded by my flowers and the butterflies and bees. A lovely and relaxing read my friend. Good job. God Bless, JB

Yes, Judy, it can be hot out there this time of year. Early, very early in the morning is better, but there are days that the humidity is so high that it is miserable out even at that time of day. I need all the blessings I can get. Thanks for dropping by and taking time to read my lines. Sara

A beautiful, descriptive write, Sara! I feel like I'm missing out by not having a porch to sit on. Blessings, Kim M

Kim, It is nice to sit out on the porch in early morning at the time of the rising sun to enjoy a little time alone with nature and God. There, of course, are ways to enjoy that time without a porch. Maybe in the yard or a park. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Summer becomes very severe and unbearable especially at noon. With artificial means, we can reduce the heat, but nothing like the God given boon of rain. Enjoyed your early morning scenes watched from the veranda

Valsa, I remember when a rain would cool it down and there would be relief for a few days sometimes which was a blessing in the mist of summer. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Out on the veranda early morning--drawing inspiration from the dawn rising--is the best place to be for enjoying hues of nature. Splendid theme and splendid write, Sara.
