Notes About The Poem
Written in response to time on the porch..Sara

Out On the Porch December 4 2011

Heavy frost, below freezing tempertures

The pale pink running roses frozen sure

Winter winds only thing to endure
Heavy over hanging clouds dampness
A lone buzzard flies
Irony spring buds adorn trees...

So those spring buds are on them already? it mystifies me how my grass is almost green as in summer! And here it's the middle of winter For some reason ,our grass is greener than on other lawns, but in summer, it looks horrendous. (got the EMily Dickinson book. thanks so much, Sara) Luv, Andrea
