Out of Touch

Trapped in a world of insecurity unable to relate to modern ways fighting the tide, no where to hide banging my head against a wall again today. Tears inside at the brim I choke them down as I pray some slipped out once again I cannot walk away. My heart is fraying, and the pain speaks to me Sometimes silently saying take care or set me free. Smoke rolls into the air another time of pain to share I beg in defiance allow me to once again go there. Love and trust are not companions worry and deceit pal around past, present and thoughts of tomorrow make a crashing sound. Escape I see the options the scale is tipped to a negative stance I am upon my knees, asking please can you give me one last chance.
