Out of the Darkness
out of the darkness and into the light
i felt this distance both wrong and right
with hopes so high and feelings so low
nothing but lies could spill from your throat
jaded emotions and gestureless notions
give her back this heart unbroken
show them what would set her free
hide the colorless soul to be
crawling around on the speechless ground
save these smiles 'til the sun goes down
tension so think could be cut with a knife
out of the darkness and into the light
