Out of Phase
There have been so many days,
I wake to feel I’m out of phase,
Doing the things I've done before,
On a swing that's back and forth...
As I kick forward and stretch my legs,
I move toward what’s still so vague,
But half the time my head goes back,
Numbing my mind so I loose track...
Then I slow down and slowly stop,
When I found what’s at top,
But I'm still bound so back I drift,
Gaining speed as I loose lift...
With bended knees I ride the curve,
A tingling breeze touch every nerve,
Nauseously again I stall,
Cautiously so I don’t fall...
As I prepare to start again,
I see the cycle I live in,
Just repeats the previous days,
And what I keep is out phase ...
