Out of Night

Such a dark and dreary night The moon being my only light Walking around to find my way But all I ever do is stray Some ways lead to dead ends While others are in winding bends Turning corners, being cold Everything looks so much like stone “Keep on moving, don’t slow down Some where is a path to be found, To take me home where I belong Some how I know it can’t be long” Then there it is, a shining light That must be the way out of night At last I found my lost home The place where I won’t have to roam The sun will shine every day I know I will always want to stay. I spent my days looking for this And now my life can start in bliss.
