Out of My League

Not even a billion rubies in the midnight sky,

could compare to the beauty your eyes hold.

The moment I gazed into those oval shaped eyes of yours,

as time ticked;

no other thought was on my mind,

than to spend eternity with you.
I will never forget the way i felt

the moment our eyes met.

it was a feeling not even Shakespeare could ever describe.

In my dreams you’ve always resided,

out of my league you may seem;

and even though Rome wasn’t built in a day,

if you don’t mind: will you take my hands

this day never to part?
The girl of my dreams;

the one the gong in my chest beats for,

time is not our friend:

Let’s not get robbed of this precious moment.

I love you and I won’t deny,

swallow your pride and let me know:

do you love me too?
