Out of Luck
Man, I think you’re out luck,
things are getting pretty rough,
had the big plans, now they’re crashing down,
the whole thing is looking tough.
Plotted out the whole weekend,
live it up with your girlfriend,
but the café’s closed and the boat broke,
it’s a mess now, don’t pretend.
Oh, it’s fate,
we think it’ all great,
we think it’s all great,
we’ll score on this play.
Oh, it’s wild,
we all face these trials,
the things that we want
sometimes take a while…
Friend, I think you’re out of luck,
the best you can do is cut,
the hotel’s lousy and she’s looking pissed,
I think you’ve both had enough.
Hey, sometimes it all goes wrong,
just regroup and come back strong,
even the best teams lose sixty games,
but the season still goes on.
Oh, it’s fate,
we think it’ all great,
we think it’s all great,
we’ll score on this play.
Oh, it’s wild,
we all face these trials,
the things that we want
sometimes take a while…
Don’t run,
if you picked a good one,
she’ll know that you did all
that you could for her.
Don’t fret,
the game isn’t done yet,
don’t give up and fall,
’cause fate always turns.
Oh, it’s fate,
we think it’ all great,
we think it’s all great,
we’ll score on this play.
Oh, it’s wild,
we all face these trials,
the things that we want
sometimes take a while…
