Out Here On My Own
I must walk this road on my own
I’ve got to walk though this rocky road alone
Yes, my Lord I’m capable, now that I’ve grown
I hear your voice telling me to carry on
“Carry on! Carry on!! It is a new dawn
Life battles are fought and won
You got to rise up and fight
‘O’ man of valor! ‘O’ man of might!
Rise up! And step into that glorious light”
Nobody else can walk it for me
I can’t be dreaming, waiting to see
I’ve got to rise up and fight the battles on my knee
I’ve got to silence that crushing spirit or whomsoever
Great men don’t get intimidated in their endeavor
Great men never quit, whatsoever
Great men learn to live with pain
O yes I can! What is pain to a courageous brain?
For the Lord’s grace out here I’ll reign

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 [NIV]
