Notes About The Poem

Our September in the Rain

       Strolling softly, in September rains,
       beneath a bright, plaid umbrella.
A tender couple strolled in joyous love,
he indeed, her dear, sensuous ‘fella.
Listen now, to the tender raindrops,
singing such sweet notes, a cappella!

Hello, Elema. Yes, i thought I would include some information, you should try it sometime, and I should try a full sonnet!, i suggest we all read each others poems aloud if we can, they take on a whole new Dimension, just readinng the written word is a barren experience, I found. Rhymes, especially, are very akin to music. Love, Pangie xx

Heelo, Darlene, back in the day, i would walk barefoot in Chicago when it was pouring rain. Of course, i waljed barefoot on cement sidewalks . What a great memory… I walked blocks in pouring rain, took shoes off, no umbrellain Chicago summer..got home soaking wet! It was a feeling of freedom…like God had given me a bath. A shower at home cannot compare to those summer night, natural delights!! Glad to know, you like the rain, too!! Merci, Pangie RaindancerM
