Our Nation's Pride
As a Navy Veteran,
I salute you all.
Brave women and men,
That answered the call.
From Soldiers on the beach,
To Flyers in the air.
One lesson they would teach,
May our enemies beware.
The lands they'd defend,
The countless they'd save.
Till the bitter end,
The Standard would wave.
The battles fought and won,
By many that had died.
Would back away from none,
And became the Nation's Pride.
They dedicate their lives,
And sacrifice the same.
The multitude that strives,
Never feels the shame.
They remain stout and true,
Armed for conflict to begin.
Until the job is through,
I salute you once again!
