Our Meadow In Ukraine, a Prayerful Wish

When walls crumble down
And dreams lay strewn and scattered
Remember our place
Deep in the mountain forest
Through the sharp-thorned brush
A meadow creekside
Times like this our shelter built
Roof for our gardens
Fresh flowing water nearbye
Wildflowers in Spring
Bountiful summer veggies
Fireside in Winter
I'll meet you there my true love
If God parts our path
To look once more in your eyes
Pressing your heart against mine

Very romantic verse, James. Thoughts of what my husband use to describe when he would drive me up to the old settlements in the mountains. The old sparse , broken down sheds were still standing. A great prayer for the Ukraine people.

Very romantic and emotive work considering what is going on in that part of the world. Sad situation. Nuclear War is not what the world is wanting but we want the death and destruction to end in that part of the world. I enjoyed reading this one. Sara
