we are models of great friendship
enjoying wondrous fellowship
designed by God’s grand workmanship*.
As love birds, we show caring tweet
compassion and concern so sweet
midst kindness’ bliss we always meet
smiting pride and selfishness-heat.
With encouragement, we both glow
helping each other from pain’s blow
while sharing every blessing flow
toward hopeful bright tomorrow.
We thank the Lord for our pet-role
cheering you to have joyful soul
praise-filled heart, too, verily whole
as we fulfill our worship-goal.
