Our Life Our Choice
Love
resolves
all conflicts,
whereas ego
only fans the fire
of hate, anger and lust,
being self-serving, narrow
and unjust, leading to discord,
separation and heart contraction,
so it’s up to us which path we do choose.
Ego helps soul to function on this earth
but other than that it has no use
and if we believe we are this
body-mind, then delusion
sets in and we flounder
about in darkness,
blind to the truth
of our soul;
light of
God.
