Our Journey
I’m walking beside
the love of my life
Just enjoying the days
As we watch them pass by
For we have been given
This gift of love
And the friendship we share
Was sent from above
No matter what life
May have in store
Just holding your hand
I need nothing more
For I gave my life
to you years ago
The love we share
Makes my cup overflow
I promise my dear
To stay close by your side
watch over and comfort you
all the days of our life.
For my life is complete
being next to you
Precious love like this
Is felt by so few
Thank you for sharing
your days with me
It’s a wonderful journey
with much more to see.
