If regrets are mistakes then what is gained What is learned in these times of pain Are we doomed to carry on the same open road Without a destination a place to call home I've been up and down this road of strange unfilmiar ways Kept in the dark with no headlights No direction in mind I've keep these feelings of lost Locked away caged in the past I struggle to breath I am challenged by the reality of so many blessings Still searching for more Still wanting all i can't take with me when i leave this place So many smiles missed So many chances to spend time with my boy So consumed by the idea of a life of riches Money did not buy what i have in those eyes of my children Did'nt cost me a dime to dream To believe i could have kids and be a parent myself So many obstacles stood in the way Still block my progress i feel today I can't imagine why I've been giving chances to be that father So tangled up in the nets of debt Can't even see how rich i am Many dream of what i have Many die trying to get it Almost lost her The one who showed me everything is possible If you believe If you can stare past all the worry and pain This life could be the dream The dream relized Our happy ending...
