Our First Date 'Poet's Dozen'
His Eyes were hazel
Corners wrinkled when he smiled
Hark I was in love
His kindness blew my mind
A heart so big, I’d never find
The boat was packed
All I could think of, was the ways he was moving his hands
Years later when I am reflecting back
Our journey hasn’t been short of tough
Won’t say our life has had no lack
But our deep love was forever enough
Even when we made uncountable guff
