Our Energy Supply

Most of our energy supply, depends on coal, now it seems, that's about to go. Jobs will be lost, towns will fall, unemployment will rise, disturbing to all. Now is the time, we need the facts, if we allow this, we're really in a crack.

Hello Christy and thank you for your comment on "The Edge of Extinction".. "Our Energy Supply".. back in the 80's England watched its coal industry crumble, thousands were made jobless, lives were ruined. Huge demonstrations and even the army were drawn in by the government. The Miners were the backbone of the English Workers Union, which now, sadly is a shadow of its former unity... this poem brought back memories of picket lines and desperate times....

good and bad things happen for a reason, sometime we may never understand why, but put your faith and trust in God, and he shall pour out a blessing upon you until there is no more want, hope that all is well with you, take care D-ncye

Frighteningly true and terribly worrying. But it seems most of the world is running around with its head in the sand (an impossible metaphor) hoping the problem will go away or that someone else will solve it. Love, Nigel
