Our Bountiful God
Our God is bountiful...
such is His nature marked by gracious attribute
life Author as well as upholder
replenishing against dearth attacks
breath Source with revival might
meeting vital needs, supplying even our wants
grace Benefactor, surely on time
exemplifying magnanimous generosity.
Indeed, His bounty never lacks:
with miracles’ affirmation strengthening faith in Him
against skepticism toward His compassion’s opulence
exhorting us --- devoid of glory-seeking motives--
to share upon joyous partaking
vanquishing discontentment plight
but rather reinforcing gratitude
breeding love, peace, and hope.
Oh, may the Lord find us
ceaselessly thanking Him with bliss
testifying wholeheartedly:
Our God is undeniably bountiful.*
*Psalm 13:6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
