It’s love that wipes away my tears
Shadow of the rain shower clears
And I’m warmed by the gentle night
He bids my soul peace to delight
It’s faith that reminds of His grace
With Him, there’s nothing I can’t face
Surprised by One who can unite
He bids my soul peace to delight
It’s hope that sings a song of life
And I know One who heals all strife
With praise, our better angels fight
He bids my soul peace to delight
The greatest gift is His Spirit
And there’s no reason to fear it
It is a love that is so right
He bids my soul peace to delight
Hope, faith and love remind my soul
It is Jesus who makes me whole
And I believe with all my might
He bids my soul peace to delight
