I never broke a bone as a boy, but I did nearly die from blood poisoning when I chased a baseball into the woods and stepped on a rusty nail in an old board covered by leaves! After surgery, I limped for years and my one of my toes has remained deformed ever since! The only good thing is that I didn't have to take gym classes all through my high school years! / M

I'd never broken anything until I broke my finger last year, no plans to ever repeat breaking anything else, sounds like you had a lucky escape as a boy!:-) hugs Jan xx
