Ostrich

"Any fool can turn a blind eye but who knows what an ostrich can see in the sand." Samuel Beckett, Murphy

The ostrich sees as if it's on drugs
And the colours are more than you can see.
The colours you see on colourful mugs
Are nothing to what an ostrich might see.

The ostrich hears as if it has gone up
To heaven, with all the heavenly harps.
Pure poetry, then, fills an ostrich's cup.
An ostrich is clever... That Murphy knows much!
