Orphaned Leaves

============================

gentle Wind, as evening gathers,
gathers up the orphaned Leaves,

leaves some tucked in between the Rocks...

rocks some to sleep beneath the Trees...

This is good! Is this based on a previous contest (Four LInes I think) where the last word of the first line would be the first word of the following line? If it is, you can check again if the line is indeed composed of only 8 syllables. Keep at it, I know you'd enjoy this kind of challenge my dear. hugs!

I have another one of these called "Water and Stone" if you want to check it out. I wrote it for that contest but the contest had ended before I could submit it.

Thanks, Kim. Yeah, this was in the spirit of that 'Four Lines Only' thing but I'd forgotten about the 8 syllable limit. Read it now with the changes.. Does it still have the same impact, do you think?
