Ornament of the Brave

They who march on storms, who poke fingers into the rocks And roll their faces at the sun eyeball to eyeball, Beat their chest with a seal of "never say never" They invoke the wrath of danger only to scorn its Reddish looks. They have their palms greased. They know no retreat so they have their days tied to Threats. They ply their pride on seasoned ventures. Ordained monks of risks , stoutly poised for capricious whims Have their sanctuary exalted by the reins of time. Amidst the clammiest world of rage they embellish Courage with forgiveness- a relief to a famished spirit Those who dare it rekindle the wine of strength. They whom it is meant (though) may know not have their Paths blessed and brightened. Fresh rays resound the brave when tampered with the glowing Sparks of mercy.Forgiveness is the ornament of the brave, All who toe this path enrich the milk of creation. Forgiveness lightens the yoke of the brave. Engrave this O mighty heart in your stout jaws.
