Notes About The Poem
Special thanks to my hubby, David, for lending me a helping hand with this (he suggested the word 'orchard')

Oregon's Octobers

Oregon's Octobers offer odysseys
of opulent orange orchards
opening on overjoyed oaks.

Wonderful pen, it makes me want to visit Oregon in the Fall; very cleverly done.

Alliteration looks easy, but for anyone who has ever done it, there is nothing effortless about it. This one seems effortless, and that is a talent in itself, my friend.

I don't know about "overjoyed", but oaks are certainly overlooked in October in preference to their acorns. Aloha! Rico
