Opportunity

Just when you think that it’s over,
Your world crumbling,
All plans gone awry.
Life takes on new meaning
Then once again you begin to fly.
You soar among your daydreams
Glimpsing your star
Here and there.
From afar you hear destiny calling
And a finger beckons to you-come on dare.
DARE to take what I’m offering.
Grasp the new,
Let go of the old.
Time to chase your rainbow,
To find your pot of gold.......
There may be some mountains to conquer.
The path may be strewn with care,
But just follow your heart
And your feelings,
Know all that awaits you is there.
Just go along with the journey
Taking the bumps as they rise,
But never look back
To what has been —
Go forward and claim your prize.

Your words truly lift my heart to the skies. This is so beautiful and inspiring. Moments are not always pleasant, but believing you can reach the unreachable- is a wonderful feeling indeed. :) Brandy
