Opinions

My opinion of the world today
It don't please me in many ways
So much starvation is going on
Seems that compassion it is gone
There's terrorism all around
Not too much love it can be found
There are so many filled with anger
Many old folk, they fear danger

Oh, tell me people "where is love"
We need to pray to God above
Ask for peace, and love and joy
Before this planet we destroy
We need to reach into our souls
Let the silence make us whole
We must build us a better life
Free the world from all the strife

I think now with media feeding us a steady diet of all that is wrong we are programmed to believe the worst of our humanity is prevailing.
