My opinion of the world today It don't please me in many ways So much starvation is going on Seems that compassion it is gone There's terrorism all around Not too much love it can be found There are so many filled with anger Many old folk, they fear danger Oh, tell me people "where is love" We need to pray to God above Ask for peace, and love and joy Before this planet we destroy We need to reach into our souls Let the silence make us whole We must build us a better life Free the world from all the strife Collaboration by Vera and Peter Duggan

Thank you SO, wouldn't it be lovely if the world was all one, no seperation of countries and religions etc. how peaceful it would be, with this one I wrote one line and then Peter and then me and so on, it was fun, anyway unfortunately it is a sad place to live but we make the most of it, take care......Vera

Amen to that Vera. I don’t know if things are worse than at other times in history. I think now with media feeding us a steady diet of all that is wrong we are programmed to believe the worst of our humanity is prevailing. I rarely watch the news these days and feel a shift in my perspective. Thanks for your visit.

Oh Paul how lovely to hear from you and thank you so much, sometimes when Peter writes a poem I feel I can add to it and via versa, I thought of this name and then together we made something out of it, yes our world is in such a turmoil at the moment but I do believe it will get better, regards to you and your lovely wife take care.........Vera
