Poem inspired by my early morning workout in the instructional pool. I could see the other pool where the swimmers were doing their laps.

*a group of sharks is called a shiver

**Lark - A source or quest for amusement or adventure

Open Swim at Six See many arms, like shark fins, in pool lanes. In laps, dusting off dark, The shiver starts on their mark. Young stars heading for the lark.

Nicely done, Kim. I can't swim, but if I saw a shiver of sharks, I surely would learn how to really quick...especially if they were in my pool (lol) BOL in the contest!

I couldn’t agree more. A way is made for women and then they do that craziness! Thank you, Joe!
