Opaque
Mascara’s running smeared,
the vision has left her faded;
The road up ahead looks hazy
a wicked taste of the unknown;
A shimmer in the dark illuminated,
there is clarity in a little bit of uncertainty;
Infinite endless possibilities,
blissfully no clear direction;
Fireworks light up a constellation,
she’s addicted to the free things;
dizzy on the energy around her
she gets high on a stranger’s smile
the feel of his hands on her back;
lost in the white noise of the darkness,
There is clarity in a little bit of opaque.
