Opalescent
I close my eyes at night to reminisce
Thoughts of you feel much like a warm caress
And on my lips such sweet trace of a kiss
Suspended stars divinely opalesce
As I let out a sigh under my breath
In moonlit park barely leave faint footmark
The heart fears most a silence over death
Connecting perchance two souls in the dark
Set free over an undulating stream
Whispers floating adrift a tender breeze
Romantic touch lifted from lofty dream
Buoyant as if launched from a love trapeze
Hearts in sync blossom inseparable
Beyond boundaries undeniable
