Only seven percent of the world’s population
Learns best by hearing.
Teachers know this.
They have been trained to know it.
The rest of us learn by seeing, or doing.
Still some
Teachers 
Insist
On 
Doing all of the talking
Why teachers 
Why?
Only seven percent learn 
Best by listening.
You are
Wasting
Our time
And
Yours

Michelle Faulkner May 24, 2018 at 9:54 AM Yes, I remember having teachers who were such windbags that the whole class tuned them out - I like the 'socratic' method (I think that's what it is) which teaches by asking and listening to their answers- Caren Krutsinger May 24, 2018 at 10:30 AM I like the field trip, hands-on experience myself, being part of the 52 percent who are kinestetic learners.
