Only a Dream
I dreamed of you,
The someone I needed,
The one I wanted.
The attraction was undeniable.
I see inside your soul,
I feel your heart,
All my feelings and emotions,
Are all wrapped up in one heart.
Yet, I wake up you're not here,
Were you ever really here?
Are you, my future?
Are you my soul mate?
Are you one of my past lives?
The one I always dream of.
That one person that I long for,
That I love and that is destined to be mine.
They say your dreams are your,
Innermost thoughts and wishes,
But mostly past lives are lives not finished.
