One With the Night

Silver mist halo
radiates its primal pull
Calling to your ancient soul
Fear and awe combine
enthralling you with its spell
You become one with the night

There really does seem to be some inexplicable attration to the sight of a full moon. Love the way you describe becoming "one with the night," Paula. This is the way I feel when I spend nights at sea. Beautiful imagery. Super congrats on your first place in Russell's contest! Love, Carolyn
