One Wish

If I could have just one wish
I would wish for a day with you
So you could meet the woman
That your daughter has become
To look at me and smile
As you see a reflection of yourself
I would talk about my dreams
The accomplishments I have done
To let you know
That I've always loved you
Though you couldn't be in my life
With tears in your eyes
You would give me a hug
Whispering that you have seen
Watched over me from above
That you were so proud of me
Loved me for who I was
As our time together came to an end
I would look up to the sky
Make another wish
To spend one more day with my father
