One Winter Afternoon

One cosy winter afternoon,
I sat near the window,
The warmth of the sun,
The chilly winter wind;
Nice warm blanket near me,
Socks covering my feet.
I sat near the window,
Thinking blithe moments,
Soothing it felt;
fun little glide from the past.
Serene my timid mind,
retain learn off by heart,
muted turmoil within;
Notions set apart..

I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
