Dali is quite bazar I'm always amazed by him. His works invites symbolic interpretation, while some of these images suggest a straightforward sexual or Freudian interpretation Hey just wondering if it's still your Screensaver I recall your winning "Spectre of sex appeal" poem Also wondering how Dilly's doing, would you know? Thought it appropriate to ask on this fabulous Dali Senryu : D

Yes it’s still my screensaver from time to time lol! Dilly seems to be doing fine, I passed on your well wishes, and she thanked you for always supporting her posts, I hope she will come back at some point in the future, it’s a real shame she felt had no alternative other than leave the soup, thanks again for stopping by Anaya, cheers David

He is my favorite! This is terrific. I would have labeled it senryu which to me is a poem that is is 5-7-5 about people not nature but you may do what you want being the creator. Lovely!

Art is wasted on me sadly David i would have to or go so far as to call or consider myself a cultural philistine Went to the Louvre seen the Mona Lisa and thought are you kidding me what the hell was all the fuss about i dont know exactly what i was expecting but was not impressed at all. It was probably 1 of the least impressive painting in the hole museum itself

That's the point about taste its your own personal choice and what inspires or touches some base instinct inside you. If it makes you feel something doesnt it then inspires you to want to emulate or express it in your own creative capacity or medium like your poem David

Yeah David i was looking around and thinking is it just me or is this not wierd. Why am i and are we supposedly in the house of God looking at pagan art am i stupid and missing the punch line and if so can someone please explain it to me also

Don’t get me wrong I’m not that inspired by the Mona Lisa myself, but the first time I seen a Dali painting I actually thought I was dreaming, the surreal realism of his work blew my mind, I’ve never been to the Vatican, that sounds pretty weird pagan paintings, adorning the museum walls, love your analogy about Everton in anfield esp after last night cheers David

I also went to the Vatican museum David and could not quite get my head around the fact that given being in the Vatican all about Christianity . If not all but the majority of the art work on display was statues and paintings dedicated to Roman and Greek Pagan Deities not about Jesus . I found that very odd you wouldn't go to Anfield and expect to see statues or pictures of Everton players
