One Pair of Shoes

Based on a true story

A torture
device
from the pit
of hell,
a sometimes
necessary
evil,
one pair
of shoes
nicknamed
Annoying!

I would be
an habitually
barefoot
person
if not for
cold rain
and winter,
both are
a bane
to my
happy
existence!

Is it the shoes, or the feet? For some reason, I cannot wear athletic (sneakers) footwear. I am in total sympathy.

Sadly, it's my feet. It is difficult for me to find a pair of shoes that are comfortable.
