One Pair of Shoes

Based on a true story

A torture 
device 
from the pit
of hell,
a sometimes 
necessary 
evil,
one pair 
of shoes 
nicknamed 
Annoying!

I would be 
an habitually 
barefoot
person
if not for 
cold rain
and winter,
both are 
a bane
to my 
happy 
existence!
