Notes About The Poem

This is something that happened when my grandson was younger. I will never forget this funny story, which I have made into an etheree.

One of Those Darndest Things

Chatting with Hyrum, my husband asked him
what he was watching on TV. He
raved about the show his grandpa’s
phone call had interrupted.
There was a lull. . . and then
this four-year-old kid
said, “What am I
still talking
with you
for?”

Kids do tend to say whatever they think, I guess it's a good reality check!
