One of One

What about them?
What did they do?
They were innocent, they were innocent! That’s what they were.
They’re all dead now, because of the likes of me and you.

What about their dreams, what about their songs?
They’ll never be realised because now they’re all gone.

What about them, what did they do?
What threat to us were they? Ah, what threat were they to me and you?
To have their lives taken because of fools!
Look at them, look at what we’ve done!
They’re all dead now we have our guns!

Bullets rip through hearts, shatter bones.
Tear families apart…
Because WAR and HUMANITY are ONE of ONE.
