One Night Love

I've been through the worst, but want to give you the best of my life
I want a one night stand with you, for the rest of my life
I've been hurt so much, the thought of trying again scares me
I just hope you're willing to go slow and take the time to prepare me

Scars on my heart from past failings in love
Wounds on my mind that I'm trying to let go 
Maybe it was something else and I was calling it love
But it's going to take some time for us to get close

I've been mentally scarred and cheated on
I gave my all and it wasn't enough for her
So many wounds, I don't know where I'm bleeding from
I've been numb, but I'm trying to give you touching words

I really like you, but I'm unable to show it
I'm scared to commit for fear of being hurt again
I'm only being honest and letting you know it
Because if love is real, I believe you'll be worth the name

Do you consider me weak, because I express emotions and show fear?
I'd talk about how I'll use my tongue, but we don't need to go there
That's for you to find out
I just hope my honesty will make you want to be mine now

Wonderful poem of experience like written with the pencil of Paulo Coelhio... Once I kept love on my palm and you can see its lines there,dip dug.Well: Green love is ready to die for itself. Mature love lets us know it deserves to live for it.
