One more day and one night

Where am I today?
Locked in my way!
Alone here with me… what do I see?

Light floating through time.
With nowhere to hide.
No shadows I see… just light all around me.

Where is the me now?
Where is my home now?
You’re lost in the light… I’m trying to turn away, trying to fight!

I don’t want to go!
I don’t want to know!
Let me fall back through the light… just one more day and one more night!

I won’t let her go… because now do I know
How precious are her eyes.. they made me feel alive.

But now to wait in the light.
For the days and the nights.
To pass through this time.
Until I can hold again the love I now mourn that was mine.
