One More Chance With You
When you look at me
I can't help but wonder what you see
Seems like the timing was always the worst
But the feelings we shared have been the same since the first
I remember as if it were only yesterday
And how the first time you smiled my way
I fell for you right from the start
Just wish I would've given you my heart
The first time I had the chance
With you I never doubted the romance
And yet I didn't stick around
To explore what it was I had found
Never knew what I had right in front of me
Wasn't sure the two of us were meant to be
But time and time again we find our way back to each other
After this I don't want there to be another
Once and for all I really wanna see this thru
Baby all I really want is you
So many reasons for you I fell
This time things are going so well
All the favorite things I love so much
Kisses, cuddles, your every touch
The joy I get watching you cook
The smile I see when at me you look
Let's not forget baking cookies late at night
You in the kitchen has always been my favorite sight
Holding my hand while we ride around in the truck
Or laughing at the park as you chased a duck
Never knowing what we might get into
But enjoying every moment I spend with you
It's finally clear for me to see
This time I think we both agree
Maybe this time perhaps it really is meant to be
After all you never really stopped loving me
And when it's all said and done the truth comes out
In my heart I hold no doubt
Even though I was too stubborn to see it before
Won't let that stand in my way anymore
I'm more sure now than I ever thought I could be
And I want this to work with you and me
Baby after everything I'm sure this much is true
All I'm really trying to say is I Love You!!!!
