One, Many, All, Few

Alone---within myself, I harbor myself and no other. Proven by DNA and fingerprints, even the likeness of my brother, is different from me. As I from you and you from he. One mind developed. One soul enveloped, one promise of eternity. Yet, within my life are many, some close and some far away, who influence the way I am, the way I act from day to day, in looks and speech from lands afar not too far to reach from there to here in bygone year, a new land ripe to breech. I am all I will ever be? Think again my friend. I will change again, again before coming to an end. Three score and ten maybe more, maybe less only He knows when. There will be other, be it friend or brother with me to mingle and blend. Yet, distinct in every concern, my ideas, and thoughts pristine. The lack of similar voiced opine, makes me few and far between. Also, consider all life at hand, all things living everywhere. By comparison, few are man. Gods plan was good. Man ruled as he should. He rules simply because he can. @ 21 Dec 2010 Charles Henderson For Paula’s "I Am........ "contest
