One Love, a Tribute To Bob Marley

“One love…one heart, let’s get together and feel alright…
As it was in the beginning (one love), so shall it be in the end (one heart); give thanks and
praise to the Lord, and I will feel alright…” Bob Marley, Prophet.

I and I,
and together, we,
are one.

We are, but before we can be, we must realize,
that the only way TO be, is I and I – the trinity;
the I and I makes the one that was, is, and ever
shall be –
the one yearning to be set free
unto its brothers and sisters to its beginnings
and endings,
and on and on and on, and led into infinity
by its singers.

It is the one that does not seek,
and can only be found; rediscovered
like the greatest treasure the earth ever buried,
and the heavens ever knew –
                                the reason for all things…

So dance as one voice; sing as two feet
pounding
the earth with your glory;
free the one rhythm that has been vibrating between toes
for all of time –
dance beneath and above all things,
and sing the songs of freedom!

Rise up, rise up, rise up and dance!
Free the chains from your bound feet,
And feel the weight released –
A trinity of I and I;
One love, one heart, let’s get together
And feel alright…

I and I,
and together, we,
are one.

Wonderful tribute to a man who knew quite a lot in his time. Talk about the 'reason for all things' I was watching 'I am legend' with Will Smith the other day and there's a scene where he mentioned how after Marley got shot he went back on stage 2 days later and did a show. When asked why he only said something like 'those who teach hate don't take any breaks, how could I?' can't remember the exact quote but thoguht it was fitting to share here. One love, as you say Kristin:) -Yoni

It is so amazing the way the song is playing so loud in my head as I read. You are like the heart and soul of this music. Your spiritual gifts and poetic talents render me speechless, but inspiration is running rampant throughout me. Yes, one love, as I feel the heartbeat of life through your words sister. Love, shar

Your heart is singing on that beach with seven miles of white sand and your spirit is basking in the sunlight feeding off the earth and its spirituality that gives you life..your life that allows your mind and soul to breathe in this piece.. your journey in life allows you to see and appreciate things that others only hear about from a afar...I feel you Reynolds, and may the spirit that watches over you continue to give you peace of mind..One love.
