One Love

One love

Only had one love that mattered.
The rest were just for fun.
My heart was completely splattered,
By her true love gun.

She blew me away and I never returned.
Spent a lifetime of hurt wishing for another her,
But no-one matched up to the idea of an ideal love,
So I'm stuck in this rut for twenty years plus.
