One Love-Us
When we became One,
We mourned and cried.
We learned to Love,
As a part of Us, died.
Our lives were shadowed
by death and despair.
I needed you-
and you needed me there.
Together we held
Each others hearts,
Protecting one another,
Refusing to fall apart.
We must remember
From where we started.
Our Love, so strong,
though-broken hearted.
As I hold your heart
And you hold mine-
I've learned a lesson,
About our time.
It's better to love
Than to hate-
Because tomorrow,
Maybe, too late.
